As I have been doing since I purchased my vehicle here, I took my car in for my State and Emission test. They did indicate that my battery was getting low, so they provided me a ride back and forth to my home while they got the part and finished the job. I am very disappointed in my experience at Bomnin. I came to look at an Equinox EV a few weeks ago, and one of my essential features was a roof rack. Before the sale my salesperson told me that I could get a roof rack for the car using the Chevy app, and that he could get me a discount on the rack. After buying the car and getting it home, I discovered that there are NO roof racks that fit my model and trim package. I even ordered one from the Chevy accessory store (that said "Fits your vehicle" when my VIN number was entered) and had to return it. The salesperson then told me I would need to take the car to a body shop to get an aftermarket roof rack installed and stopped responding to my emails. I feel disappointed and misled, and I can't transport my paddleboard. I would not have purchased the car if I had been given the correct information. Extremely frustrating.

It was great! The salesman Aladdin took care of me and I am very pleased with the service. There was a small scratch on the driver door that needed to be fixed and the bed liner needed to be sprayed. Aladdin was able to get it all coordinated and taken care of within less than two week. Everything looks great! I am happy with my new truck purchase. I highly recommend dealing with Aladdin when purchasing a vehicle from Bomnin Chevrolet.

Had 9:30am appointment; told advisor I’d wait for work to be completed: oil change, inspection, new battery. Work was not done by lunch; told advisor wife was picking me up; advisor said work would be done around “2-ish”, returned to wait; work was not completed until after 6pm! Absolutely awful experience. Advisor placed the blame on me for miscommunication about my availability to pick up my car; except lunch with wife I sat for too many hours in your waiting room all morning and the better part of 4 hours in the afternoon. Absolutely terrible service experience.

Took my truck in for an oil change and to have two recalls addressed. This is the second time I have brought it in for the same recall. I was called to pick up the truck and told all was taken care of. A few days later, they called me and said that actually the reprogramming that was needed for the recall wasn't actually done. I now need to make a new appointment.

Terrible Experinace. Sonia Hernandez both times were miserable. While walking in to receive help she was eating her lunch and ignoring us. Then she wasn’t descriptive during the process and told me “i can’t help you” she said that 4 times. I then had to drive all the way to the Woodbridge location to receive help. I needed a tire replacement, she said we can’t offer you a new tire of no charge because we don’t have access to your warranties. (Even though i showed her my contract for my car) I then went to the woodbridge location of Chevy and they were appalled. I got my new tire (Free) i have a warranty. I also got my registration taken care of. I have been to this location twice and it’s insane to me how she still works there. I am a manager myself at a company and if ANY of my employees treated clients the way she did, they would be terminated. I wouldn’t allow a second occurrence.

It’s the best car buying experience. Every time I would stop by the lot to see inventory all my questions were answered and I was never pressured to buy. When I finally found what I wanted the treatment remained the same. Even on the day of the purchase I was never pushed to buy and to that made me feel valued as a customer and that I wasn’t just another sale.

The customer service rep and manager were very helpful in addressing my service needs at the service counter. They listened and documented my issues, provided guidance and assistance where needed. The service was very well performed and upon completion contacted me immediately to let me know my vehicle was ready for pickup. Additionally they kept me updated from when the vehicle was dropped off to when pickup was and answered/returned my calls with additional information when asked.

Car was at dealership for a week and I paid 6200 dollars for repair and I had to return the car for maintenance the following day because it is not fixed. In addition, while sitting in the customer waiting area, the guest open Wi-Fi has most news sites blocked for access - CNN, AXIOS, Reuters with only Fox accessible. That is Not Good for a dealership.

Regular maintenance customer here, Upon a repair of my vehicle, I had an issue with the part replaced the next day. I Went back to the dealership early the next morning, they were able to check it out and correct the issue. The technician and a service advisor showed me what was corrected and apologized for the inconvenience and said “No charge”. This proved their honesty to me, from them making a mistake to being upfront and apologetic about it. I’ll continue to be a customer for this reason.

pricing was great. the initial call to dealership for inquiry was not good. I was told a trade in price over the phone but once i drove 4hrs to do deal, the dealership came in 9k under what all other dealerships were offering. after some hard talks dealership came up in price but was not happy with the offer but i accepted even knowing i could get better deal on trade in elsewhere but wanted the car they had on the lot and couldnt find elsewhere. sales guy was nice. the sale process i felt took longer than it should have. 9am-230pm and i didnt even test drive the car. the financing part was a bit tricky too. I wanted payments figured out, but they went ahead and got everything going on process before i even approved the monthly payment. i feel this was a bit of a shady situation. The monthly payment should have been shown to me at sales desk, not finding out payments as we are signing papers. the interest rate was way high, but then after some talks and saying they had to do better on rate (with my score being 760) and rate still high, they came back n lowered interest rate after i fought it. The selection of vehicles were great (z06s). I was happy with my purchase, just a bit tough of a process for the buying of it. I just think the sales process should have been done differently. overall happy i got the car i wanted

I called on short notice to check whether a specific stock number I saw online was still in inventory. The salesperson checked and verified it was. I caught a ride to the dealer that evening and was greeted immediately when I walked in the door. The salesperson took me to the vehicle and thoroughly explained all the features before allowing me to do a test drive. My mind was made up to purchase the vehicle after completing the test drive. The salesperson worked with me to complete the preliminary paperwork and presented me with options for extras. He listened to my reasoning for declining some of the options and did not overpressure me about the extras I didn't want. I appreciated the attentiveness to my needs. Working with Finance was also easy, and I appreciate the Finance manager for staying past open hours to complete the paperwork and get me on the road. It was important for me to have the vehicle to get home to Charlotte after my truck was rear ended and towed earlier that day and I was left without transportation. I did have a glitch with the automatic rear gate when I went to drive off. It had worked during the demo but would open or close automatically or with the push of a button. I was able to get an appointment scheduled the following week when I returned to Manassas. The service advisor assisted me immediately upon arrival and after a short wait in the customer lounge he stopped by the grab me to take me to talk to the technician who had been able to resolve the problem by resetting the sensors. I really appreciated the technician for taking the time to walk out the vehicle with me and explain what he found and how he resolved the issue. Great customer service all the way around. Purchasing the new vehicle has proven to be a great experience. Thank you, Bomnin Chevrolet.

Told me not to worry brought in my vehicle immediately, offered coffee and advised me of other services my vehicle needed and which ones I should prioritize. Overall very professional and down to earth. I drive 60 miles to get my vehicle serviced at Bomnin Manassas. I wouldn’t take my vehicle anywhere else, they had my vehicle out in about an hour an a half. Highly recommend this place for not only a down to earth experience but also very professional staff.

Service work performed as expected and was fairly timely. Chevrolet/GM/Dealerships should remind themselves that their customer's cars... belong to the customers. Just because there is a Service Advisory or Recall on a vehicle... do not assume you can do the work without customer authorization/consent/acknowledgement. Dealer tried to put my vehicle in for the Key Replacement without disclosing what they were doing. I have fought against this Recall for years and will never allow it to happen as long as I own the car. Remember the first rule of business... "The customer is always right... even if they are wrong". It is the customer's money and trust you are trying to "EARN". Do not assume anything. ASK!

Bomnin's Volt/EV mechanic does excellent work. Multiple repairs have been made with no issues - this time included. The Service Advisors are not doing so great. The web status system was not kept updated and I was not texted or emailed with the repair status (most messages were call me back). I was updated by the automated system when parts were ordered via email. The Service Advisor ordered parts and proceeded with repairs assuming my car was under warranty and then concluded it was not. The Service Advisor and Service Manager addressed this with a very reasonable discount but this delayed the return of my car by about a week. Please work on training for warranty repairs and communication requirements.

I was greeted courteously when I came into the service writer's area. Although she was on the phone, she stopped talking to greet me. After she finished her call, I explained that I had made an appointment but that my wife, whose car was to be serviced, was running late. She said that it was no problem. When I took the keys in, she immediately showed me the ticket and confirmed that the service was under warranty. She said that they would call me as soon as the vehicle was finished. She did. When we went to pick up the vehicle, as I walked into the service writer's area, she greeted me and told me where to go to pick up the paperwork and keys. What she did not know was that I have been dealing with that particular dealership since 1968 and that I had a good idea of how things worked. The service provided by Bomnin is a vast improvement over the service provided by the previous owner and is approaching the service provided by the Martins who were the original owners.

At my most recent oil change at Jiffy Lube the technicians informed me that the problem with my Air Conditioning was the thermometer gauge/sensor and that my windshield wiper fluid was not pumping because the motor which powers the spray needs to be replaced. They do not have the ability to replace the OEM Chevy parts, so they told me I should take it to a Chevy dealer. They gave me this diagnosis free of charge. I went to Bomnin and asked for a price check for parts and labor given that it is the only place I can have this work done. The dealership informed me that they need to do their own diagnostic before they can order the parts after they identify the exact root of each problem. This is in spite of the fact that I could already positively identify both issues. They charged me $200 to tell me what I already knew, and said that the total work would be approximately $2500. They charged me $200 to tell me what I already knew, and then asked me to produce an entire mortgage payment to fix my AC and windshield wipers. It's just like going to the doctor because you have a broken leg, and then the doctor charges you for diagnosing you with a broken leg, when you already know full well your left leg is broken with a compound fracture. The staff was professional and respectful, but it is morally criminal for the dealership to monopolize this kind of work on my truck and then charge me hundreds of dollars to tell me what I already know all while extorting me to resolve an issue with a product I purchased from them, and for that I leave you one star. I will learn to live with wiping down my windshield every time I get gas and driving my AC off and my windows down.

The day before we were supposed to drive my 2023 Colorado with 20,000 miles on it on Vacation to North Carolina, it went into limp mode with a check engine light. I was able to get it to the dealer just before they closed, but they could not get me a loaner because they were out of cars (on a lot full of cars). Pretty dis-appointing, as I spent a lot of money on this truck. We ended up taking my sons 2004 Honda Accord with 170,000 miles on it to North Carolina, and it ran great. It was not a good day in the Chevy books. This was the second time that I had to bring it in for similar problems. I like my truck, but if the reliability issue is not solved, I will sell it to carvanna and buy an older truck from before they started over-complicating them.

I had some significant work done to a 2019 Tahoe, more than 11k all told. Elijah was the service rep I worked through. The workmanship seems solid, no issues there. However, when I went in to pick up the truck I was given a labor and parts total of nearly $13,300. I informed the lady at the desk that I had agreed to $10, 523 (plus tax). A service manager looked over my paperwork for about 30 min and came back and said the mistake was due to some extra repairs, that were not done, being put on my bill, hence the overcharge of nearly 3K. Not a great explanation, but whatever. I was the shown a new total of $10,775, as opposed to the documented agreed upon price of $10,523 (I can provide the email string with your dealership). As a result, I was forced to overpay by $252 in order to take the truck away. I’d welcome your assistance getting this remedied. Second, the warranty on the new transmission, which Elijah told me was three years and 100,000 miles, is not noted anywhere on the paperwork. Hoping you could solidify that for me. I’ve emailed Elijah on this twice now, one on Saturday and once today, with no response.

I value your prompt service, and the friendliness, and attentiveness of the entire service team! The two recall services were done, however, when the reprogramming of the radio was done using the USB, as one of the recall repair. The proper function of my radio was loss. I loss the touch screen functioning of my radio, and resetting of the clock. My radio, and clock were functioning perfectly prior to the recall repairs. I went back couple of hours later to bring the issue to the service team awareness. I was told that I could not proof that the radio, and clock were working right when I brought the vehicle in for the recall repairs. I could not believe what I was hearing, because the clock on the radio was correct when I parked the vehicle in front of the shop for the recall repairs. They declined correcting the issue, stating that the warranty on the car has expired. Then they gave me a bill of $1,125 if I choose to put in a new radio. The experience was one from hell- service tech Elijah was by far the worst of it. His I don’t care attitude and lack of feedback/follow up was truly appalling. It wasn’t until I mentioned my car was part of a Lemon Law case did I finally get some type of response from management. However no compensation or extended warranty to cover went from a simple oil change to the car needing an entire new engine in it. Asked several times for the GM to call me to discuss and nothing ever from Ivan. I would truly never buy another car from Bomnin and if I could get rid of the car I bought I certainly would have. I told the dealership I would not recommend them to anyone. The service alone was terrible. The only person there with any type of competence was Sonia. She was extremely nice and incredibly helpful. I asked multiple times to deal with her instead and they kept putting me to Elijah

Services performed as expected - oil change and tire rotation as well as transmission fluid work. The latter seemed to have fixed an issue I've noticed with rough shifting. Cons - 1) expensive dealer charges as can be expected but no discounts offered even for being a buyer there 2) Communication improvement. My appointment was for noon and I had to call them a few hours after to check on the update 3) Most notable was their service lift malfunctioned and as a result raised my vehicle too high and damaged my XM antenna. At least they reduced my oil change bill by a little $ and replaced it free of charge in a couple days, but it was still inconvenient to schedule another appointment and come back to have it fixed

This has been brought to the attention of the service team (Oscar) and Salesperson, Mr. McDaniel. I made an appointment to have my first complimentary service done at Bomnin Chevrolet, which included an oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point vehicle inspection. The appointment was at 7 am on 10/24/2025. I was there approximately 40 minutes. On my way home, I couldn't help but feel like the tire rotation was not completed even though it was documented on my paperwork. Once I got home I decided to check to see if my gut feeling was warranted. See what I knew that the service department didn't was that the driver side rear tire had a plug in it. When I got home I checked that tire to see if it had moved, it had NOT. I reached out to the service department asked Oscar to please bring up their documentation on my vehicle. I asked does yours say I recieved a tire rotation to which he stated yes. I said well that's not accurate information, then asked to speak with the service manager who wasn't available. I explained to Oscar how I knew a tire rotation wasn't done. This is not the first time I've been disappointed by those at Bomnin Chevrolet. I'm concerned that if they falsified my service document are they doing it to others. I even questioned whether an oil change was actually done. Bomnin Chevrolet is an hour one way for me. So on 10/24/2025, I drove round trip 2 hrs and I will again drive round trip on 10/28/2025 another 2 hrs when I have to bring the vehicle back for a tire rotation that should have been done the first time I was there. Oscar offered to fill my car up but honestly I think that I deserve my 2nd oil change, tire rotation, and multi-point inspection free due to the inconvenience this has caused me. And for reference, a tire rotation is the process of moving each tire to a different position on the vehicle to ensure they wear out evenly. You might want to explain this to your staff at Bomnin Chevrolet instead of them trying to explain it as a different process. Saturday was not ready till Monday afternoon and charged me for an oil change plus my transmission service I explained to them I did not ask for an oil change I felt like a bait and switch had occurred. Very upset. I paid it, but I promise I will never be back.

The first recall was a software update and the other was the major L87 engine inspection. Albert called me and scheduled my appointment with the date and time I requested. They followed up and I dropped off my car at 7:30am and shuttled me back to my house and several hours later I picked up my Tahoe. The experience was very smooth and everyone was very courteous and professional. I've been taking my Tahoe here for almost three years and every time I've received excellent service. I highly recommend their service team.

Had a 1030 appointment for a recall issue dropped it off and was told it would probably be about an hour or so. Called the dealership a little over two hours later to check on the status and was told it hasn’t been done yet called back an hour and a half after that, and spoke to a lady who said you guys only had one technician that could check on the recall And she thought I’d drop the truck off for the day. I don’t know why she thought that when she wasn’t my service rep and I never spoke to her prior to this phone call and then up getting the car back at 4:30 PM for something that was supposed to be about an hourwill not be bringing my truck back here for service

This repair took 1 day shy of a full month! The original justification was staff shortage. There was poor communication originally on what was taking so long. The work was covered under warranty, (Max Care) and I understand that it required some coordination, but 30 days for a simple rear shock replacement, and a exhaust manifold seems excessive.

My experience started about a month before purchase. There was a courtesy vehicle that I had my eye on but of course it had to hit mileage before it could be sold. I was in touch with Jeff Penn throughout the whole process. I’ve dealt with many salesman in past vehicle purchases, but I would have to say that Jeff was one of the best I’ve ever dealt with. He was upfront and honest, which can be hard to find now. I was probably at the dealership about 2 hits before I drove away with my new truck. The only thing that did is remove the gas cover and charge me 199 because they didn’t receive from my coverage and still waiting for call from the service! Extremely sad and very disappointed with the service! I’m definitely escalating this issue to GM

This is unfortunately not my first less than satisfactory experience with the service department, but I can assure you, it's going to be the last, because the level of consistent, BLATANT disrespect (of my intelligence and my time) is STAGGERING. I called and set an appointment for an oil change, safety inspection and routine maintenance covered by our maintenance agreement. I arrived at the appointed time, checked in, and then took a seat in the waiting room. I was sent a link to "keep track" of progress of my car, but it never updated. An hour and a half after that I got a visit from an advisor who came out and let me know that they had finished my oil change and their "complementary inspection" and were doing the safety inspection, and he carried a paper full of service "recommendations". I let him know that the recommended items covered by our maintenance plan needed to be completed, and asked that he let me know which weren't and we could go from there. An hour later, I went back into the advisory area to check and see where things stood, and how long we were looking at, and he said - let me check with the technician. He left and then came back and let me know that the car failed inspection for a marker light bulb, and that it would be about $80 installed (seriously?). I said fine, go ahead and change it so it can pass, please. To be clear, I would NEVER pay that for a bulb that I could do myself, but, the dealership is 30 minutes from my house and I don't have time the week before Christmas to take the failed sticker and change the bulb and come back, so I recognize that I'm paying for the convenience that you have the part in stock and while you're already working on my car, you can take care of it, but let's call a spade a spade, that is literally robbery... At this time the advisor also let me know that the filters and the alignment were covered by our maintenance agreement. When I went in an hour after that to see how much longer it was going to be (yes, that means we're now at 1240ish pm), He said they were having trouble with one of the clips on the marker light, and just as he was about to say he was going to check with the technician, when a technician walks in and hands him paperwork, which he looks at and says oh, actually, just 2 more minutes while I finish your paperwork. so I walked out and waited near the cashier, and about 15 minutes after that, he came out with my paperwork. 5 hours after I arrived, I was back in my car. At no point, in the 5 hours I was there other than the 1 time that he came out to present the "recommendations" did ANY advisor give me an update, and the link that I was sent at no point updated to give me the status of my car. No employee engaged me other than when I went into the Advisor area to check status, at which time, Abel took the time to chat with me while I waited for the advisor working on my ticket to check with the technician. All in all, I'm disappointed to say that we will not buy from or have a car serviced here again, as the general experience has not been a positive one.

Made an appointment for an oil change and state inspection for 10:30 am . Dropped my truck off at 10 am and was told it would be done by 1:30 pm. I no called at 1:30 pm and was told they would need to keep the truck until 5 pm to do some recalls . Showed up at 5:30 to pick up and oil change and inspection was done but was told the recalls were not done. I don’t understand why the recalls weren’t done , they had my truck for more than 8 hours. Not a great experience as this left me stranded at work all day with no vehicle and unable to even go get lunch. Not very happy with the poor inaccurate communication and time estimation for the work.

I brought in my Suburban to address a warning light showing up on the onboard display about the tire sensors. I called and my Service Advisor said to come over and if I could wait a little the technician would make the necessary repairs. Two sensors were replaced and I was back on the road. Thank you Sonia. My experience this time was not as good as it was before. I had an 11:30 am appointment for my vehicle, and my vehicle went to the service bay around 1:30 pm. I departed the dealership around 4:15 pm. If you make an appointment with a date and time, you should adhere to it. V/r, Dr. Carr

The best experience ever. I received my service in this center, and the people were very professional and had an amazing experience. The front desk was welcoming people with a smile at 8 a.m. The gentleman who took care of everything, his name was ALBERT SANCHEZ, he was brilliant, and explained to me everything and every single step. I have a 2025 Equinox EV, and there was a recall on this car. MR. SANCHEZ made sure that I would understand the reason for this recall, and they fixed it without any concerns. I recommend everyone in the vicinity of Manassas to visit this center if they have any problem or they need to schedule a service for their cars. Thank you, Bomnin Chevrolet Manassas.
